Dilana Brings Home Best Actress and Best Music in Film
from the American International Film Festival

Pasadena, CA – September 18, 2010 – Dilana, best known for her participation on CBS’ Rockstar Supernova, is thrilled to announce that she has brought it home again!! On Friday, September 17, 2010, the American International Film Festival honored Dilana with two additional awards for her lead role in “Angel Camouflaged”: Best Actress and Best Music in Film.

“Angel Camouflaged”, directed by Michael Givens, includes an impressive cast including James Brolin, Warrick Grier (“The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior”), Carlos Bernard (TV’s “24”), Terry Serpico (“Army Wives”) and of course Dilana. In “Angel”, Dilana stars as Scottie, a singer who inherits a rundown bar and, with her somewhat less-than-reliable brother, Morgan (Warrick Grier), labors to revive the ramshackle tavern and rekindle her passion for music. The course of restoration will take some wholly unexpected and revelatory turns. For “Angel Camouflaged”, Dilana composed and performed nine songs for the soundtrack including “Airplane”, “Sexaholic”, “Ice”, and “Slaves” to name a few.

Dilana is scheduled to appear in two additional movies. “Silence”, directed by Jewels Satterfield, will begin shooting in February 2011 and is an action packed thriller based on the underworld of internet pornography where Dilana will play the leading role as Alex Mitchum. “Here After”, shooting in Sudbury, Canada in the spring of 2011, a psychological thriller, is a story of love, loss, passion and redemption with gripping action sequences and a subtle paranormal underpinning. Dilana will be the co-producer in charge of music for each and will offer soundtracks to accompany both films.

Silence

February 2011 Dilana has the lead role of Alex Mitchum in Jewels Satterfield's film, "Silence", to be filmed in Cape Town, South Africa. Silence is an action packed thriller based on the underworld of internet pornography. Dilana will not only have the lead role, but will also be the Co-Producer in Charge of Music and will offer 9 songs to be performed in the film and soundtrack.

Jewels: "I wrote this film with only her in mind for Alex. This is an action movie with a whole lotta of music in between. Dilana has been training with an acrobatics master trainer because she insists on "Doing all my own Stunts". Normally I would say no, but Dilana is in amazing shape and can do anything she sets her mind to. I'm excited to see what my Stunt Coordinator, Cole McKay and Dilana, come up with. I look forward to watching Dilana kick a lot of butt."

Synopisis
Alex Mitchum “Dilana” an undercover FBI agent, posing as a Punk/Rock/Grunge Biker chic, sent to South Africa to infiltrate a biker gang, suspected of being the leading producer of internet child pornography. Alex must use her wits and skills as a rock singer, to lure the leader into trusting her, thus gaining inside access to the gang.

An action packed thriller that will keep you at the edge of your seat as Alex negotiates her way through the underworld of internet pornography, learning that sometimes the job hits too close to home.
